- Cut internal and external threads in wood.
- Each kit comprises a screw box with which to make the male thread and two matching taps; a starter and bottom for the female thread.
- Available in size from 1/2" to 1-1/2".
- Recommended pilot hole diameters for the female threads:
1/2" tap = 3/8" pilot hole
3/4" tap = 5/8" pilot hole
1" tap = 7/8" pilot hole
1-1/4" tap = 1-1/8" pilot hole
1-1/2" tap = 1-3/8" pilot hole
